Auto Repair Worth the Drive from Lee's Summit
Lee's Summit is about half an hour from our shop. People make the trip when they want a car, SUV or truck diagnosed properly the first time.
Why make the drive from Lee's Summit?
Lee's Summit has plenty of repair shops close to home, and for a quick oil change one of them may be the convenient choice. But when your car, SUV or truck has a problem that's already been "fixed" once or twice, or one nobody seems able to pin down, it's worth driving to a shop that tests before it replaces parts.
That's what we focus on: finding the actual cause, whether it's an electrical gremlin in a family SUV, a check engine light that keeps coming back on a commuter car, an A/C system that won't stay cold, or a diesel pickup that's lost power. Then we explain it clearly before any work starts. Qualifying repairs carry the NAPA Peace of Mind warranty, 24 months / 24,000 miles, honored nationwide, so you're covered even if you never come back this way.
Making a 30-minute trip work
- Call before you come. Walk us through the symptoms, codes and past repairs. It saves diagnostic time.
- Send an appointment request with two time options and we'll confirm one. Request a time.
- Drop off after hours so you're not fighting morning traffic on 291 and I-70. Call ahead for instructions.
- Bundle it. If the vehicle is due for an oil change, tire rotation or brakes, we can do it while it's here.

I recently had brakes installed on my Ford F-350 Super Duty at Elite Diesel and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I walked in, Drew (the owner) set the tone for what real customer service should look like. Not only was the brake job completed efficiently and professionally, but he went above and beyond by loaning me his personal truck while the work was being done. That level of trust and service is rare to find anywhere, especially in the diesel repair industry. If you’re searching for diesel repair near Oak Grove, MO, Ford diesel service, F-350 brake replacement, or a trusted diesel mechanic in the Kansas City area, Elite Diesel should be at the top of your list. The quality of work, honesty, and customer-first approach truly set them apart. The shop is clean, organized, and clearly run by someone who takes pride in both their work and their reputation. It’s obvious why Elite Diesel is becoming a go-to for diesel owners around Oak Grove and the greater Kansas City area. Highly recommend Drew and the team at Elite Diesel. I’ll be back for all future diesel service needs.
