An oil change is the simplest thing you can do to make an engine last, and it's also our chance to spot small problems before they turn into big ones. We use oil that meets your manufacturer's specification, whether that's conventional, synthetic blend or full synthetic.

When to change your oil

Follow your owner's manual or the vehicle's oil life monitor. Many modern gas engines on synthetic oil go 5,000 to 10,000 miles between changes. Severe service shortens that: towing, lots of idling, short trips, dusty roads and extreme heat or cold. If your truck works hard, change it more often.

Signs you're overdue

• Oil life monitor or maintenance light is on
• Oil on the dipstick is black and gritty, or low
• Louder engine noise or ticking on startup
• You can't remember the last time it was done

What's included

• Drain and refill with the correct oil and a quality filter
• A quick look at fluids, belts, hoses, tires, lights and wipers
• A check for leaks while the vehicle is in the air
• Resetting the oil life monitor

If we notice something, we'll tell you and let you decide. No pressure to buy anything you didn't come in for.

Diesel oil changes

Diesel engines hold a lot more oil than a car (many heavy-duty pickups take 10 to 15 quarts) and need a diesel-rated oil such as API CK-4. Diesels also make more soot, so oil condition matters. We handle diesel oil service on Power Stroke, Cummins and other diesel trucks, and we can change fuel filters and check the coolant and air filter at the same visit. Tall van? One customer's van was too tall for the bay, so the oil got changed outside.
