Auto & Diesel Repair for Bates City
Bates City is practically next door, about 3 miles and 7 minutes from our shop, whether you take the back road or one exit on I-70.
Your nearest full-service shop
Bates City is a small Lafayette County town, and for a lot of folks there, we're one of the closest full-service repair shops. That makes us handy for the quick stuff, like an oil change, a tire rotation or a burned-out headlight, and for the bigger jobs you want done by someone you trust.
Out here, "the vehicle" is often several vehicles: a daily driver, a farm or work truck, a trailer or two, and maybe a side-by-side or a riding mower. We see all of those at the shop. Call first on mowers and UTVs so we can tell you honestly whether it's something we can take on that week.
Two easy ways to get here
- The back way: head west on Golden Belt Rd into Oak Grove. It becomes SE 12th St at the edge of town; from there it's just a few blocks to the shop.
- The interstate: get on I-70 West at Exit 31 (Route D / Route Z), get off at the very next exit, Exit 28, go south on Broadway about half a mile and turn left on SE 10th St.
Either way, look for the tan metal building with blue awnings and the ELITE sign at 405 SE 10th St.

Drew got my truck in right away and rotated my tires while I waited. It was only 15 minutes and I was on my way. Price and service was excellent!
