A/C repair is one of the most common things our customers mention in reviews, and it's usually because we found the actual problem instead of just adding refrigerant. A system that's low on refrigerant has a leak, and a recharge alone won't last. Sometimes the problem isn't refrigerant at all.
Signs your A/C needs attention
- Air blows warm, or only cool at highway speed
- Cold on one side and warm on the other (often a blend door or actuator)
- Air comes out of the wrong vents or the fan only works on certain speeds
- Clicking behind the dash when you change settings
- A musty smell, or water on the passenger floor (a clogged evaporator drain)
- The compressor clutch cycles rapidly or doesn't engage
What we do
- Performance check and diagnosis: vent temperatures, system pressures, compressor operation and electrical controls.
- Leak detection to find where refrigerant is escaping.
- Evacuate and recharge with the correct amount of refrigerant after the leak is fixed.
- Component replacement: compressors, condensers, evaporators, hoses, expansion valves and orifice tubes.
- Blend door and actuator repair, which is a common cause of hot-on-one-side complaints.
- Blower motors and resistors, plus cabin air filters.
Cars, trucks and diesels
We service A/C on everything from compact cars to heavy-duty diesel pickups and work vans. Trucks that idle a lot or tow in the heat put extra load on the A/C, and condensers packed in front of intercoolers and radiators can clog with dirt and debris. We'll check that too.

Can you just recharge my A/C?
We can, but if it's low, there's a leak. We check for leaks first so you aren't paying for refrigerant that escapes again in a few weeks.
Can you diagnose my A/C the same day?
