Headlight, Tail Light & Trailer Wiring Repair
Burned-out bulbs, lights that flicker, a trailer that won't signal. We fix the bulb, and we find out why it failed if it keeps happening.
Working lights keep you visible and keep you legal. Most lighting problems are simple, like a burned-out bulb. But if bulbs keep failing, lights flicker, or one fix causes another problem, there's usually a wiring, ground or switch issue underneath.
Signs you need lighting work
- A headlight, tail light, brake light or turn signal is out
- Turn signals blink fast (often a bulb out on that side)
- Headlights are yellowed, hazy or aimed poorly
- Lights flicker, dim, or work only when you wiggle something
- Trailer lights don't work, or work backwards
- Moisture inside a headlight or tail light housing
What we do
- Bulb replacement: headlights, fog lights, brake, tail, turn and marker lights
- Socket, connector and ground repair for lights that flicker or fail repeatedly
- Headlight switch, turn signal switch and relay diagnosis
- Headlight assembly and tail light housing replacement
- Trailer wiring: 4-pin and 7-pin connectors on the truck, trailer-side wiring, lights and grounds
- Brake controller wiring checks so trailer brakes get the signal they need
Trucks and trailers
Trailer lighting takes a beating from weather, gravel and corrosion. If you pull a utility, equipment, camper or livestock trailer, we can check both the truck's plug and the trailer's wiring in one visit, and handle the rest of the trailer too. See trailer repair. We work on lighting for gas and diesel vehicles of all kinds.
This has been the only shop I have taken my truck too. All the work has been quality. They have also been done all the work for my trailers.
Lighting FAQ
Why do my trailer lights work sometimes and not others?
Most often it's a corroded connector or a poor ground on the trailer or the truck. We test both sides and repair the connection rather than just swapping the plug.
